Last Minute {LINZ} / St. Louis Portrait Photographer

So, I'll admit it, I am an {IMPULSE} buyer . . . I do not do research, that's what my husband is for, ha! This causes a bit of an issue when I need new camera equipment, my husband can do the research, but he doesn't understand the specs. Therefore, I thought I could take on the task myself, 2 weeks ago I read a couple of forums and ordered a reasonable priced lens from Amazon.com that I needed in order to shot a wedding {TODAY}.

I got the lens in the mail and thought, great, looks good . . . but, I didn't get an actual opportunity to test it out until this past weekend. I put the lens on my camera and received an EE error message, uh oh!! Not compatible, what? How could this be, I read a forum!?! And, I believe everything that I read on the internet! ;)

Anyhow, to make a short story long . . . yesterday rolls around and I still do not have a lens. I sucked it up, went to a local camera store & I'm glad that I did. Surprisingly, I ended up with an off-brand lens, a Sigma & I think I love it! We will see how it preforms at the wedding today, but here's my test shot from yesterday for your viewing pleasure . . .
